"No we're not, we just came through here," said Abbey.
"Our compass is going haywire, and it seems like we're going around in circles!" said Christina.
The three girls were called Rachel, Abbey and Christina, and they were on a journey to find a crystal. They had been
searching for a cave through a dark forest for days and still hadn't seen any sign of a cave.
It was pitch black in there and they
didn't have a torch. Suddenly, the cave started shaking and rocks started falling from the ceiling. Christina and Rachel ran out but Abbey tripped and rocks fell and covered her so she couldn't get
out. When Christina and Rachel got out they wondered where Abbey was so they waited and soon searched for her but there was no sign of Abbey. They tried to move the rocks but they were too heavy.
"What was that?" asked Christina.
"What?" said Rachel.
"I think I heard Abbey."
"Where?"
"I'm not sure."
"Are you sure it wasn't the wind?"
"I don't know," said Christina.
Suddenly, they saw a bright white light coming from the cave. They quickly ran behind a big oak
tree, peering around the sides watching the light. The ground kept shaking and the two girls
held on to the tree steadily, still watching. The rocks moved and the bright light shone on
Abbey lying inside the cave.
Amazingly, she was lifted off the ground. There she was floating in mid-air! Slowly, Rachel and
Christina moved towards the cave while Abbey was moved to the oak tree. Rachel and Christina carried Abbey back to their cabin and she was soon taken away by an ambulance with a minor head injury. The
girls rang home and were taken away by their parents. The crystal, however, was covered with rocks and was never found again.
