Once upon a time there were three billy goats that were going to the hill to make themselves fat. There was a bridge they had to cross and under the bridge was a troll who was really ugly. The troll also had a very ugly voice. The first Billy goat to cross the bridge was the youngest.

"Trip, Trap, Trip, Trap," went the bridge. The troll came up in front of the first Billy goat and said, "Who's that trotting on my bridge?"

"It is the smallest billy goat and I'm going to the hill to make myself fat," said the billy goat.

"I'm going to gobble you up," said the troll.

"Please don't eat me; the second billy goat is much bigger," said the billy goat and the troll let him through.

Soon, the second billy goat came to cross the bridge. "Trip, trap, trip, trap," went the bridge. The troll came up and said, "Who's that trotting on my bridge?"

"It is the second billy goat and r m going to the hill to make myself fat," said the billy goat.

"I'm going to gobble you up," said the troll.

"Please don't eat me; the third billy goat is much bigger," said the billy goat and the troll let him through.

The troll wouldn't let the third billy goat through and the third billy goat explained to the troll that he had horns to crush the troll's bones.
