Once upon a time there lived three pigs that were going to go their own
ways, to make their own living. So off they went out all alone into the big world.![]() The first little pig was walking along when he bumped into a man carrying a whole lot of straw. "Please, sir, may I have some straw to build my house? " asked the first pig politely. The man stood there for a while thinking about it, and, since he was such a kind man, he let the first pig have some straw and carried on along the road.
"Not by the hair on my chiny, chin, chin!" "Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in." So the wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the house in and ate up the first pig. While this was happening, the first pig's brother, the second pig, had run into a man carrying sticks and had made his house of sticks and now he was sleeping with exhaustion when knock, knock, knock; someone was at the door. The second pig went to the door angry that someone had woken him. bHe went to the window and saw the big bad wolf. "Little pig, little pig let me come in," said the wolf. "Not by the hair of my chiny, chin, chin." "Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!" So, once again, the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the house in and ate up the second pig. The third little pig had been watching as his two brothers had been eaten up and he had a bit of a brain and decided that he would make his house of bricks. That very same day he went out and bought some bricks with the last of his money and went to go find a spot for his new home. He found a great place in the forest and set to work. It didn't take him long to finish and as soon as it was finished he went inside to have a nap.
"Little pig, little pig, let come in," said the wolf. "Not by the hair of my chiny, chin, chin." "Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!" So he huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed but he couldn't blow down the house. The wolf sat down and thought and thought and thought and he thought of a plan: he would climb through the chimney. The pig was happy that night because he had a nice plate of roast wolf for dinner!
