Puppet Making in Cambodia

An assignment based on an article from NZ School Journal 3:1:04, written & photographed by Maren Lawrence.

This article looks at two young boys as they pursue the traditional craft of puppet making in Cambodia, a country which, because of a long period of war recently, is in danger of losing some of these old skills.

This assignment is based on the QAR ("Question-Answer-Relationships") strategy for reading comprehension Raphael 1982, 1984).
There are four types of QAR: In the book (RIGHT THERE), In the book (THINK & SEARCH), In my head (ON MY OWN), In my head (AUTHOR & ME).
