We made the mural pictured below in two days. It is 9 metres long and 1 metre high. (In reality, though it doesn't look like it below, all 6 of the panels are exactly the same size.)

On the first day, lots of our parents came in to work with us for about an hour and a half. It was a great morning's work!

The next day, in the morning, we spent 40 minutes giving the mural an undercoat. Late in the day, we spent another 20 minutes giving all of the mural's panels a last finishing coat of paint.

We left it to dry over the weekend.

We also drew lots of characters from the book and mounted them on cardboard and then cut each character out. There are lots of nails hammered all over the mural and we can put our characters anywhere we want and/or re-enact the story or make up our own adventures by moving the characters around - as some of us have done.

It was a cool project to do and we all enjoyed ourselves!   AND... in real life, it really looks fantastic!!!!!!
