Bard, the wood-elf king and Gandalf used the Arkenstone to bargain with Thorin. Bilbo admitted that he gave it to them.Thorin is furious. He promises to share the treasure but tells Bilbo to go away and never return. Thorin sends a message to Dain to approach carefully and be ready for battle. Eventually, a battle begins. Two armies, one of goblins, the other of wargs, had sneaked up on them and soon began the Battle of the Five Armies. Elves, people, dwarves vs. wargs and goblins. The goodies nearly lose but are saved in the end by Beorn and the Giant Eagles.
