    He gives the party some ponies and food.

    The Company left and proceded to Mirkwood. At the edge of Mirkwood, Gandalf left them.

    Chapter Facts

  • The eagles set the Company down on Carrock, a large rock hill.
  • Beorn's house was in a forest of oak trees.
  • Beorn could talk to cattle and horses.
  • Beorn gave the party advice about Mirkwood and also told them to return his ponies before they entered the forest.
