In your books, write down the number of each line. Next to each line you must write

1.        Yesterday, strange cretures landed on our planet. They were hidious! They were so
2.      ugly I nearly spilt my breakfast all over my uniform. Luckily, my household robot,
3.      246-Mate, was alert and saved me from getting durty before the day had even begun.
4.        The aliens had landed in my backyard in a saucer-shaped space ship. When they
5.      came out of the ship, my eyes bulged out with discust!
6.        There were three of them. Each won had long, ugly stalks which they walked on.
7.      These stalks had short, stubby knobs on the ends. Yuck! These wierd things had
8.      more stalks, too! These other stalks poked out from there square bodies and ended
9.      in round knobs. Ooooh, they were ugly!
10.        On top of their square body, they had a short stalk which suported a round blob
11.      which my instraments told me encased their brians.
12.        When they saw me, one of them held up one of his stalks, showing me the round
13.      blob on the end of it. I don't know what he meant when he spoke, for his language
